I have a ton of spam collecting in the admin page for one of my mailing lists, but I am unable to clear it. I go to the Mailman admin page, check off the box to remove all messages marked Defer, click the button, and get the following error: Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource /mailman/admindb/<mailing list> could not be found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. TimmiT HTTPD Server powered by Apache Server at the-nest.com Port 80 I filed a ticket about this (#XDP-773165) and was told I had to delete the mailing list and start over. When I asked why this was necessary, I was told "Mailman is the worst list to use honestly. I don't know why we still offer it cpanel won't fix the bugs." The ticket was closed the following day but the problem still remains. I guess I am not happy with this resolution. This is, as far as I can tell, a problem on your end. I have tried using three different browsers on two different machines using two different operating systems and get the same error, so I doubt that it's something on my end. There has to be some way to correct this without forcing me to backup and blow away a mailing list so I can start all over again (and perhaps have the same problem happen later due to the sheer amount of spam we've been getting lately.) I just don't have that kinda time (it's taken me this long just to find time to post a bug report.) -Z |
