Exclamation cPanel 11 Released!

cPanel 11.2 was released yesterday and is full of exciting new features! Over the coarse of the next few weeks we will be heavily testing cPanel Version 11 with mixed combinations with things such as Apache 2, PHP5, MySQL5, Ruby on Rails, and much more.

Be sure to watch this thread for updates!

This is excellent news. I would really love to see a lot of the features you listed worked into H9's services in the future. It would be a great addition if it can be done properly.

Our testing of this last night release has unsurfaced a couple glitches so far:

1. curl has some issues if upated straight across

2. The cPanel apache also has issues

That is all so far!!

Hey that's great news. I can't wait until it's ready. Good thing you guys are doing heavy testing before letting us use it =)

will anybody with shared hosting be able to play around with ruby on rails?

can we install Symfony, and play with that as an alternative to ruby on rails? it is the ruby on rails clone for php.

I have sometimes thought in changing to a ruby on rails capable host. Having Ruby on rails would be great news for some of us and very appealing to new customers.
