I've spent the last few hours trying to install ModernBill. Maybe someone here knows the answer to my problem. Well this is how I started my install. i read the instructions at: http://manual.modernbill.com/adminhe...stallation.htm and I thought to myself it was pretty easy.
After doing that, I go and try to execute install script at: [install dir]/install_v4/, I get the following page: Quote:

It's now 4:07AM, and I've spent 12 hours straight trying to install ModernBill. I would like to remind everyone of a passage on HostNine's website Quote:
Without deleting .htaccess I get an "Internal Server Error." Can someone point me in the right direction... |

Thanks for the offer Joshua, but as a community i think it's better if you help me on here. If your answers are able to help me, it might help other users here as well. ------------------------ Well here is the problem I have: At my install page, the following are flagged red: http://planetwebhosting.com/billing/install_v4 error_reporting 6135 register_globals OFF session.use_only_cookies OFF I tried to change the values of my php.ini file in root of my install dir, but the changes there do not reflect back at the install page. Also want to note, I did delete the .htaccess that came with the ModernBill install. |

Thanks beholder, It kinda helps. I now know that it's reading the php.ini file in: /usr/local/Zend/etc/php.ini Instead of the one put I put in my root folder public_html That last link you had was from a post in June 2007 and I saw that. I did ask the support team at HostNine and they told me they don't use .htaccess anymore and instead told me to use php.ini Last edited by Dukerev; 10-31-2007 at 05:12 PM. |

My orginal problem of "Zend Optimizer not installed" has now been resloved. It appears that someone at HostNine forgot to install Zend Optimizer The support people at HostNine were able to have Zend Optimizer installed within minutes. |
